The website and the waitlist · 1 October 2026

This notice covers golfchamps.app and the waitlist form on it. It is short because we collect very little. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect when you join the waitlist

What the site measures

We use PostHog to count visits and see which pages, films and buttons get used, so we know what’s working. It sets cookies and records things like pages viewed, clicks, approximate location from your IP address, and device and browser type. Session recording is off. We also set two of our own cookies, gc_ft and gc_lt, which remember the campaign that first brought you here (for up to 180 days) and the most recent one (up to 30 days), so a sign-up can be credited to the right channel. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and the site still works.

What we use it for

We don’t sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is stored with the service providers that run the site and the app (hosting, database and analytics), some of which store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Getting it changed or removed

Email hello@golfchamps.app to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. To stop our emails, reply to any of them and say so.

Using the app? The full privacy policy for Golf Champs accounts, scores and the group ledger will be published here before public launch. Until then, questions about your account go to hello@golfchamps.app.
