Watching a round live
When a mate scores hole by hole, you can follow the round from your phone, one hole at a time.
Find the round
When someone starts scoring hole by hole, On Course Now appears near the top of Home with a red LIVE pill. There’s a row for every player on the card. Tap a row marked Watch to open that player’s round. The person holding the card sees Resume on their own row instead. The rest of the group also gets an email when a round goes live.
Cards typed in with Quick Entry never go live. They show up when they’re submitted.
What’s on the screen
- At the top: the player, how long ago they started and the LIVE pill. A flagged round shows 🚩 DOUBLE ROUND.
- The banner: Holes, Stableford, Gross, Projected (from the third hole: their points so far, paced out over 18), Birdies, and Eagles once there’s one.
- Scorecard: FRONT 9 and BACK 9, with the par, stroke index, score and stableford points for each hole. A green circle is an eagle, a red circle a birdie, a blue square a bogey and a black square a double or worse.
- Raids This Round: every raid so far and the hole it came on. A RAID! banner flashes up when a new one lands.
- Hole-by-Hole: the latest hole first, with what they made and their running points.
- Comments: the group’s banter. The scorer can read it on the course, and the thread stays with the round once it’s submitted.

It updates by itself
You don’t need to refresh. Each hole appears as the scorer moves on to the next one. When they submit, the round leaves On Course Now and lands in Round History.
Mates outside the group
- If your organiser has switched on the public season page, live rounds show there too, updating every 30 seconds, unless they’ve switched live rounds off or the player has hidden theirs.
- Any member can give a mate a watch link. Open More, then Group Settings, and find 👀 Invite a mate to watch under Watch Links: add who it’s for, pick 7, 14 or 30 days, tap Create link, then Copy and send it. It’s a read-only seat in the app: they follow the season and the banter but can’t post a score or comment. The link works once.
Good to know
Do live scores count yet?
Not until the round is submitted. The scorer can still fix a hole, and a raid that no longer stands drops off the list.
Why can't I see a round my mate is playing?
They’re not scoring hole by hole. A card typed in with Quick Entry only appears once it’s submitted.
Can I talk to the players?
Yes. Post in Comments. The scorer sees it in the round’s chat without leaving the card.
Can I keep my live round off the public page?
Yes. In Group Settings, under Public Season Page, tap the button next to My live rounds on the page so it reads 🙈 Hidden. Your submitted rounds still show.
