How every screen in Golf Champs works, for members and organisers.

Pick the screen you’re on, or search for it. Each article says how to get there, what everything on it means and what happens next. Articles marked For organisers cover the jobs your group’s organiser looks after.

Getting started

Join a group or start one, find your way around the app and set up your profile.

Joining a groupOpen the invite your organiser sent, set up your account, and you’re in the group. The app at a glanceFive tabs along the bottom, a row of icons along the top, and everything else one tap away in More.Your profile and settingsYour profile holds your details, your home course, how the app looks and which emails you get.For organisersStarting a groupCreate the group, choose how it plays, then send your mates the invite.

Your rounds

Score a round, look back at every card, watch a mate live and book the next one.

Scoring a roundEvery round starts on the Score tab: pick the course, score it hole by hole or type the card in at the end, and the app works out the rest the moment you submit.Round History and Round DetailRound History keeps every card your group has put in this season, and any round opens into a full breakdown of what it did.Watching a round liveWhen a mate scores hole by hole, you can follow the round from your phone, one hole at a time.Booking a roundBook the next round in advance and the whole group sees who's playing where, with a countdown to the first tee.The Double FlagOnce a period, wave the Double Flag before you play and your next round counts double, good or bad.

The season

How every round is scored and ranked, where the numbers live, and how the season finishes.

The BoardThe Board is your group’s leaderboard: who’s on top this period and across the season, and what every badge beside a name means.Beats & TriggersEvery round moves your balance, and where it finishes against your group’s line decides the round: a beat, a survive or a trigger.RaidsPull off something rare and every other player in the group loses a slice of their balance, while yours doesn’t move.BlundersA blow-up comes off your own balance, scaled to your handicap, and the whole group sees it land.MajorsA Major is a named day your organiser schedules, where the confirmed field’s scores, blunders and GC points count double and the winner goes on the honour roll.A player's page (Player History)Every player has a page with their whole season on it, and anyone in the group can open it.Group StatsGroup Stats puts the whole season in one place: the totals, who’s rising, who wins head to head, and who’s the steadiest.NotificationsThe bell at the top of the app is where you catch up: your brief for the next round, then everything the app has told you.Award NightAward Night closes the season: every award is worth poker chips, green for glory and red for shame, and your chip total sets your seed for the Finals. The FinalsThe Finals is the season’s finale: a short run of rounds, usually on the trip, that crowns a Finals Champion beside the Season Champion.

The pot

What’s in the trip pot, who still owes what, and how to pay in.

Trip PotThe Pot tab is your group’s trip pot: what’s in it, how close you are to the goal, how long until the trip, and who still owes what.Paying into the potYour pot payments go straight to your organiser’s pot account, and your reference code is how the app knows the money is yours.

Your group

Chat, announcements, polls, the public page, and the organiser’s tools.

Group ChatOne chat for your whole group, inside the app.AnnouncementsAnnouncements are notices from your group’s admin, kept in one place so nobody misses them.PollsPolls are how the group finds a date everyone can play: an admin lists the options and everyone ticks every one they can make.Public Season PageThe public season page is a read-only web page for your season that anyone with the link can open, no login needed.Rules, How this works and helpWhen you’re not sure how something works, or think something’s broken, these are the four places to go.For organisersMembers and invitesWho’s in your group, how to bring people in, and what to do when someone’s away or gone. For organisersGroup SettingsGroup Settings is where the organiser decides how your group plays.

Champ Day

One day, one winner: playing a Champ Day and closing it out.

Playing a Champ DayA Champ Day is the whole game in one day: everyone plays their own round, and the day crowns one winner and one Foursome of the Day.For organisersClose the DayWhen the last card is in, close the day: it locks the results and archives the day, ready for the next one.

Rather watch? The video guides show every part of the game in 25 seconds each, and every number and edge case is on the rules page.
