Champ Day: one day, one winner
One day. One winner. Everything starts and finishes today.
What’s a Champ Day?
The full Golf Champs game in a single day: live scoring, the leaderboard, raids, blunders and side games, started and finished on the day. There’s no season and no long-term table. Start it, play it, close it, and the next one starts fresh.
Your four-ball is your world
On a Champ Day, your raids and side games stay inside your four-ball. You raid the three mates walking with you, not the whole field.
Then foursomes go head to head
The foursomes also compete as teams. A foursome’s score is its average stableford, plus birdies and eagles, less blunders, all counted per player, so a three-ball competes fairly with a four. The top score wins Foursome of the Day, and there are awards across the whole field: Sharpest Cards, Birdie Machine, Most Volatile and Cleanest Round.
One leaderboard, one champ
The leaderboard runs live all day. When the last card is in, the organiser closes the day and the final standings and side-game results are there for everyone. Then it resets for next time.
Good for
Club days, society days, a mate’s birthday round: any one-off day of golf.
Good to know
Is a Champ Day part of a season?
No. When you set up a group you choose whether it plays one-off Champ Days or a whole season, and a Champ Day group can become a season group later.
Who can I raid?
Only the players in your four-ball.
Who starts it?
The organiser starts the day and closes it when the round’s done.
How are foursomes compared fairly?
Everything is counted per player, so a group of three competes fairly with a group of four.
Every number and every edge case is on the rules page.
