Award Night
Award Night closes the season: every award is worth poker chips, green for glory and red for shame, and your chip total sets your seed for the Finals.
When it happens
Award Night is optional. Your organiser switches it on for the season in Group Settings and runs it at the end of the season, before the Finals. Until it’s on, you won’t see it anywhere. Once it is, open More, then Award Night: it lists every award on your group’s list, in the order it’s read out, in order, with what each is worth in chips. A note at the bottom says if your organiser has changed any values or switched awards off. The Award Night guide shows the night itself.

Three acts, worst to best
- The Roll of Shame: the red chips come out first. The Glass Jaw, The Tilt Merchant, The Snake Magnet, The Rollercoaster, The Raid Magnet, The Donor, The Blunder Podium and, last, The Wooden Spoon for the worst season balance.
- The Grind: the long run of green that nearly everyone touches. The Iron Man, The Survivor, The Beat Machine, The Round of the Year, The Metronome, The Houdini, The Birdie Machine, The Eagle Eye, The Period Champion and more.
- The Big Chips: The Major Champion (chips for every Major title won), The Banker for the best season balance, The Benefactor for whoever’s triggers put the most into the trip pot, The Enforcer, The Golden Card and The Golden Crown, and last of all, The Season Champion.
On the night
The organiser runs the night from their phone. Each award comes up as a card with its rule. Reveal names the winner and exactly which chips to hand over, then Next award moves on. Nobody starts with chips and nobody hands any back. Everyone tied for an award takes it in full. An award nobody earned is skipped.
The Final Count
After the last award, Run the Final Count adds everyone up, and every red chip cancels a green one. The order is your seed for the Finals, and each seed shows the Finals head start it would carry on the standard setting. A tie on chips goes to season GC points, then average stableford.
Good to know
Do the chips touch my balance or the pot?
No. They’re the night’s score and nothing else.
Can the organiser change the awards?
Yes. Every value is a default: they can change it, or skip an award, before the night.
Who is the Season Champion?
The top of the GC Points ladder when the season ends. It’s the last card of the night, and second and third collect chips too.
Can we rehearse it?
Yes. The organiser can open the night any time for a dry run. It reads the season as it stands and changes nothing.
