Members and invites
Who’s in your group, how to bring people in, and what to do when someone’s away or gone.
The member list
More → Members lists everyone with their handicap, rounds played and home course. The number at the top is the group’s size. Tap a player for their GC points, season balance and stats, then View Full History for their full player profile. Paused players are greyed out with a Paused badge.
Inviting people
Open More → Group Settings. The card at the top shows your invite code, and under Share this group:
- Copy Invite Link copies a link that takes them to sign in or sign up, then straight to the join screen.
- Copy Code copies just the code, for someone who’s already in the app.
Send it by text, email or your usual group chat. Members has a Copy Link button too, so anyone in the group can pass the invite on. New members appear in the list once they’ve joined. Joining a group shows what they’ll see.
Pausing a player
Away on holiday or injured? In Group Settings → Player Management, tap ⏸ Pause on their row, add a reason if you like, then tap Pause Player. While paused they can’t be raided and can’t submit rounds, and a Paused badge sits beside their name. ▶ Resume brings them back.
Removing and re-adding
Tap ✕ Remove, add a reason if you like, then tap Remove Member. They come off the member list, the leaderboard, score entry and raids, stop getting emails and lose access to the group. Their rounds and history are kept.
Removed players move to 🗄 Archived players, where + Re-Add brings them back. 🗑 Delete forever only works for someone who hasn’t played a round this season, and it can’t be undone.
Admins and the owner
Whoever creates the group is its owner. The owner can tap 🔑 Make admin to share the running of the group, Remove admin to take it back, and 👑 Hand over to pass ownership to another admin.
Good to know
Someone’s running things but not playing.
Tap 🎫 Organiser on their row. They’re hidden from the boards. ⛳ Playing switches them back.
Can a mate follow along without joining?
Yes. Under Watch Links in Group Settings, enter who it’s for, pick how many days it lasts and tap Create link. They see the season, the banter and the results but can’t change anything, and money stays hidden unless your admin allows it. The link works once and expires on its own.
Does removing someone delete their rounds?
No. Their rounds and history stay. Even 🗑 Delete forever only ends their membership of this group, not their account.
Can a removed player come back?
Yes. Open 🗄 Archived players and tap + Re-Add whenever you like.
