Raids
Pull off something rare and every other player in the group loses a slice of their balance, while yours doesn’t move.
How a raid works
Golf Champs reads every card the moment it lands. When a round has something rare in it, a raid fires: every other player in the group loses a slice of their balance, and the raider’s balance stays exactly where it is. Nobody claims anything. See the Raids guide.
- A raid can’t trigger anyone on its own. It can push them into the Danger Zone, and their next round (or the end of the period) decides it.
- Raids never double, whether on a Double Flag round or at a Major.
- Paused players aren’t hit.
- On a Champ Day, raids stay inside your four-ball.
Every handicap can raid
Universal raids fire for everyone: Birdie Streak, Eagle Raid, Hot Run, Dominant Run, Comeback Kid, Bogey-Free Run, Victory Lap, Net Eagle Double, Surf and Turf and Strong Handshake. The rest belong to a handicap tier, so each tier has targets it can realistically hit:
- Elite (5.0 and under): The Surgeon, On Fire.
- Low (5.1 to 10.0): Sharpshooter, The Closer, Clean Card.
- Mid (10.1 to 18.0): Par Machine, Hot Hands, Net Hat-Trick.
- High (18.1 and up): The Unicorn.
One raid is personal. If you’ve set a home course of your own, play a mate’s home course alongside them, with at least one side game ticked when your cards go in, and beat their stableford: only they lose a slice. See Home Turf.
The Raids screen
Open More, then Raids. SEASON RAIDS at the top counts the Raid Events, the Total Drained from everyone’s balances and the Players Hit. Then there are three tabs.
- Feed: every raid, newest first. Each shows who raided and what for, the date, what each player lost and how many players were hit.

- Damage Report: MOST DAMAGE GIVEN ranks the raiders and MOST DAMAGE TAKEN ranks who’s been hit. Tap a player to see it broken down by raid.
- How Raids Work: every raid, what sets it off, and how hard it hits in your group.

Good to know
Does raiding cost me anything?
No. Your balance doesn’t move. Everyone else in the group loses a slice of theirs.
Can a raid trigger me?
Not by itself. It can push you into the Danger Zone, and your next round, or the end of the period, decides it.
How do I see what raids have cost me?
Open the Damage Report, find your name under MOST DAMAGE TAKEN and tap it for the breakdown.
Does the Double Flag double my raids?
No. Raids stay single both ways, on a flagged round and at a Major.
